Glue sprue on the base.
Cut the pieces to size.
Scratch them with the hobby knife to produce some texture. Then paint in brown.
Overbrush in reddish brown.
Apply a variety of washes. Apply a wash to a board.

Seraphim Sepia:
Bring it together with a light brown light drybrush:
