Painting the bat familiar

Painting

Prime in white. I applied the primer by brush, to avoid spraying the flying stand.

Basecoat in brown. Paint the leathery membrane of the wing in leather brown, leaving some of the original color where it meets the arms and body.

Reikland fleshshade tints the wings.

Agrax earthshade tints the rest of the body.

Red dots form the eyes.

Basing

Cover the base in home made putty to hide the sprue and also to provide some height variation.

Create a rugged rocky base suitable for a cave dwelling animal as per the painting tip.

Finished!
